Little dachshund finds herself on euthanasia list

When Sidewalk Specials clear a euthanasia list we clear it, no matter how sick/ old/ scary the dog is!

But it’s not often we find a tiny, scared dachshund fighting so hard to survive life on the streets!

Meet sweet little Lucy, 5/7 yrs old dachshund mix, super good with cats and dogs and in need of her forever human! 

She’s got her medicine all packed with her blankie and the vet thinks with a little TLC she’ll be just fine!

We rescued seventeen dogs this Wednesday, four were too sick and didn’t make it back to Cape Town, the remaining thirteen left us with a bill of R7000 + Any donations would be appreciated!

Also massive shout out to Vet Point, Sea Point for accommodating THIRTEEN welfare appointments at an hours notice! If you want a Vets with a heart for animals this is the place!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
