Puppies safe in foster

We got em! Those puppies are safe safe safe! Cape Town stepped up epically as usual!

We had one foster all prepped and waiting, but she ended up with the German Shepard that we rescued!

Puppies/ German Shepard’s- same difference right?! It is when you’re an epic human! 

Thank God we had another offer on the very day of pulling them!

And boy oh boy were those puppies happy to see us!

Now they’re getting all strong and ready to meet you on Adoption Day! This Saturday 3rd September at Oranjezicht City Farm at Granger Bay, 8-2pm! 

Currently named “Stop” and “That”, this brother and sister have earned their happy ending!

Whilst we were there we heard of another dog in peril, meet our surprise Sidewalk Special- Cola!

Ten years old (at least) and not a tooth in her mouth, little Cola was used to sleeping out in the dirt.

That was till her owners decided they wanted her gone…

The reason? She smelt!

Funnily enough thats what happens when you don’t bath a dog once in her life! 

Thank you to the wonderful human’s who gave their Saturday up for the rescue drive, delivering dogs to fosters, to the fosters for opening your homes, to the home checkers for checking those homes! Thank you for all the sharing and caring and praying! Just a big huge THANK YOU for everyone!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
