Dog Rescued By Uber Needs A Home!

Bobo was called in over Christmas: living in Manenberg & no longer wanted…

It’s the busiest time of the year in dog rescue- we were full, everyone was full! We asked our contact to feed him & try keep him safe whilst we found a foster!

Then came the wassap- “kids throwing bricks at Bobo to make him leave”.

Uber was booked and forty minutes later Bobo arrived into Vetpoint to begin a new, kinder, chapter of his life! 

Vet Point X- rayed- the bricks had broken Bobo’s leg, fortunately only the smaller bone, he’s resting and healing well. Otherwise he was 100% healthy just in dire need of a bath! 

Bobo’s great with cats & dogs, AMAZING with children, he even likes to hold his own leash and take himself for a stroll! He’s a wonderfully natured dog that’ll do great in any home! 

He’ll be at Adoption Day this Saturday 6th of Jan at Granger Bay Market, 8-2pm! Let’s SHARE and get him the home he deserves!

Sidewalk Specials are PBO approved and can issue Section 18(A) tax certificates for donations received!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
