Rubbish Dump Puppies- SOS

This weekend we headed back to De Doorns to check up on our known vulnerable dogs! 

We met new inhabitents on the municipal dump who, in turn, have brought unsterilised dogs back into the mix.

Two pups were suffering greatly, with the owners blessing we brought them back to Cape Town for treatment and rehoming! 

Ruby: 4 months, two broken bones in her leg, needs a foster/ forever who can provide her with an (initially) restful environment.

Ruben: 4 months, rectal prolapse, will require surgery but with no foreseen future complications. Needs a foster/ forever home where he can recoup.

Both pups are otherwise healthy, good with other dogs and gentle with humans. They will be re homed individually.

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
