Leading up to Steri Drive 8 we have began our Mandela Day Kennel Drive!
Thirty kennels were delivered into the impoverished township of De Doorns this weekend!
Each dog received a warm blanket, Nexguard, deworming and Hill’s Pet food and were signed up for inoculation and sterilisation at Steri Drive 8!
Massive thanks to every kennel donor, to Two Oceans Aquarium for collecting and delivering, to Roark Gyms for the blankets, to The Barefoot Concept Store & Quantum Adventures for the Nexguard, to Hill’s Pet Nutrition for always taking care of South Africa’s most vulnerable dogs and to Pet Places for the incoming inoculations!
Our Mandela Day Kennel appeal was successful beyond our wildest dreams- 418 kennels donated! Special shout out to Cecil Jowell Family Charitable Trust for sponsoring 38 kennels and Lynn Zeeman for a whopping 43!
Deep appreciation also goes to the Purple Kennel Project and Jo Jo for stepping up to provide the donated kennels both at welfare rates and in time for winter!!
We are so grateful to The Flemming Family Foundation for their support in Steri Drive 8 which will be happening early September in the De Doorns informal settlement!
