Rescue Puppy Safe At Last!

A conversation later and we learn that the rest of Alida’s litter had perished, most likely from disease and exposure, that this was the mother dogs third unwanted litter in two years and that not one puppy had survived.

This is the reality of unchecked breeding in South Africa’s townships, where there is no access to, nor means to afford, vet care and sterilisation.

Fast forward one month and not only is Alida happily homed but her mother received a ‘Care Pack’ at Steri Drive 9 and as such is now sterilised, inoculated, parasite free and has a warm kennel to sleep in! 

All is well and it’s all thanks to your support!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
