Rescue Puppy Safe At Last!

A conversation later and we learn that the rest of Alida’s litter had perished, most likely from disease and exposure, that this was the mother dogs third unwanted litter in two years and that not one puppy had survived.

This is the reality of unchecked breeding in South Africa’s townships, where there is no access to, nor means to afford, vet care and sterilisation.

Fast forward one month and not only is Alida happily homed but her mother received a ‘Care Pack’ at Steri Drive 9 and as such is now sterilised, inoculated, parasite free and has a warm kennel to sleep in!

All is well and it’s all thanks to your support!

If you can help us rescue again please use the donation options below! Sidewalk Specials are PBO approved and can issue 18A receipts for all donations received!

‘Steri Drive 9- Part 3’ is coming on the 22nd August 2020!
