Sidewalk Specials Needs You!

It’s been a rollercoaster of a year, 2020 has kept us on our toes like never before, but Sidewalk Specials have been so blessed by our donors, volunteers, sponsors and vets- all of you have stepped up to safeguard the animals of De Doorns and we are so grateful! 

But conditions are worsening, the economic devastation of Lock Down is now being truly felt: food is scarce, savings are spent and it’s the animals that suffer first! It’s imperative now more than ever that puppies and kittens are not born into this world that cannot cater for them! 

We’re wanting to do one last push in 2020- Steri Drive 10– three hundred more animals sterilised, vaccinated, dewormed, given tick and flea medication, food and a warm kennel!

Thanks to the amazing humans at the Wild at Heart Foundation– if you sponsor one township animals Care Pack for R450/€24/£20/$27 they have agreed to MATCH your donation!! 

Meaning R450/€24/£20/$27 will allow us to sterilise, vaccinate, deworm, give tick and flea meds, a bag of nutritious food and a warm kennel to TWO underprivileged dogs/cats!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
