Why sponsor a ‘Care Pack’?

Because Cape Town’s shelters are full, thousands of animals are euthanised daily, you can’t rescue what you can’t re home and there quite simply aren’t enough homes!

The solution?

1) Heal them at home: provide vet care, shelter & education to uplift the animal in their current environment!

2) Sterilise! Stop animals being born into a world that can’t look after them!

This weekend ‘Steri Drive 10: Part 2’ starts- last weekend we achieved 225 Sterilisations/ Care Packs and this weekend we want to do the same!!

A ‘Care Pack’ costs R450/€24/£20/$27 and consists of a vet check, sterilisation, inoculation, deworming, NexGard tick & flea meds, an antibiotics course, a Pet Heaven food parcel and a warm JoJo kennel!

The vets are donating their time for free to make sure your donations go where you want them to- the animals!! 

The best bit? If you sponsor one township animal’s Care Pack, Wild at Heart Foundation will MATCH your donation!!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
