Steri Drive 11: 137 ‘Care Packs’ for Day 1!

Day One of Steri Drive 11 saw 137 ‘Care Packs’ administered…

That’s 137 dogs & cats who had a full vet check, inoculation, deworming, NexGard tick & flea treatment, sterilisation & a Hill’s Pet Nutrition food parcel!

Dogs without shelter also received a warm JoJo kennel.

Our amazing vets from Vetpoint, Centre for Avian, Reptiles and Exotics and PDSA -worked their fingers to the bone!

Day two is a go- if you can sponsor a De Doorns township animal please do, it will be the first vet care of their life!

A ‘Care Pack’ costs R450/€24/£20/$27 and consists of a full vet check, inoculation, deworming, NexGard tick & flea treatment, sterilisation, antibiotics course & a Hill’s Pet Nutrition & food parcel!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
