Roxy the Abandoned Pit Bull Gets Her Smile Back!

Roxy was called into us from Gigi Camp, one of the more dangerous settlements in De Doorns, by a young girl worried for Roxy’s safety.

She reported how Roxy’s owners didn’t want her anymore so had given her away to a group of local youths…and how Roxy was not doing well in their care

Some logistics later and Roxy was en route to Cape Town for a much needed vet visit, then a foster stepped up, you guys covered her vet bills & shared her for a forever home…and the rest, as they say, is history!

Here Roxy is checking in from her forever home to say a huge big thank you– we really couldn’t do it without your support!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
