165 Sterilisations In a Day!

Watch ‘Sidewalk Specials Steri Clinic’ run its second mass sterilisation in the impoverished township of De Doorns – managing to sterilise and vet 165 township animals in a day! 💪🏻

Huge shout out to Mooigezicht Estates for providing our hall, to our amazing volunteers who are always ready to be up at the crack of dawn and give their blood, sweat and tears getting these animals the first vet care of their lives! 🙌🏻

El Burro once again drove from Cape Town to cater and feed the entire team, all at absolutely no profit to themselves- support them guys, great food made by stellar humans! 🥰

Eskom turned the power off, naturally, but Flash’s donation of generators turned it back on – donating equipment even in the throws of season, an epic Cape Town company supporting rescue! 💡

Alongside sterilisation, each dog/cat received: inoculation, deworming, an antibiotics course, a tick and flea treatment donated by NexGard and a tasty food parcel donated by Pet Heaven – amazing! 😍

All our supporters have made this ‘Steri Clinic’ a reality, special thanks to Do it for the Dogs, The Sports Concept Store, Pet Places, Create Lasting Change, The Stretch Foundation and the Flemming Family Foundation for your continued assistance! 🙏🏻

Our hero vets travelled from all over Cape Town to donate their time for free, check if you can spot your vet in the video – Cape of Good Hope SPCA, PDSA – SA, Penzance Veterinary Clinic, TAH Rosmead, Animal Rescue Organisation, Durbanville Animal Hospital and all our wonderful locums- we love you guys! ❤️

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
