Sidewalk Specials Outreach Team are in the De Doorns township weekly, attending to emergencies called in by owners who cannot afford/access veterinary care…

On social media we constantly hear “why do they have pets if they can’t afford vet care”…😒

Whilst Sidewalk Specials focus will always be on mass sterilisation- reducing the amount of animals born into poverty- the reality is that there are currently thousands of animals within the De Doorns township reliant on us for help.

Without Sidewalk Specials Outreach, these animals would otherwise face slow and painful deaths…

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
