Bringing Free Vet Care to South Africa’s Townships!

The day before a Sidewalk Specials Steri Drive…😅

Friday is collection day- 14 hours of driving the De Doorns township, signing up as many cats/dogs as humanly possible, all so we can have a 7am kick off Saturday when our volunteer vet team arrive! 💪🏻

Friday’s hot, stressful & exhausting but it allows us to collect, vet and sterilise at least another 100 township animals- so no complaints from us! 😎

Sidewalk Specials Steri Clinic is running again on the 25th March 2023 with the goal of vetting and sterilising 170 township dogs/cats in total! 🐶😸

Each animal collected gets:

▪️Inoculated

▪️Sterilised

▪️Dewormed

▪️a NexGard tick & flea treatment

▪️an antibiotics course

▪️a bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition food

For most animals this will be the first, and only, veterinary care of their lives! 💖

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
