Skelm, Bullet and Lady, our three emergency cases, checking in…
Skelm has received his amputation, the surgery went wonderfully and his family are awaiting his return! 
Bullet has pulled through against all odds- thank you to the kind vet at Boland Dierekliniek who brought his own dog in to donate blood just in the nick of time – hero’s don’t always wear capes hey! 
The other dogs in Bullet’s family are strong, sterilised & healthy, the exact cause of his weakness has yet to be determined, his organs will be checked later this week…
Lady’s owner sadly does not want her back 
Lady is just over a year old, small breed, good with dogs, cats and kids! She’ll be doing life on three legs but there’s no reason this should hold her back!
