Steri Clinic – Behind the Scenes

Our coldest pick up day to date, watch the Sidewalk Specials team push on through to collect the 97 dogs and cats whose sterilisations have been sponsored so far…

At ‘Steri Clinic 6’ we’re aiming to vet and sterilise 180+ cats & dogs from the De Doorns township!

Each animal treated receives:

▪️Inoculation 💉

▪️Sterilisation ✂️

▪️Deworming 🪱

▪️a NexGard tick & flea treatment 💖

▪️an antibiotics course 🤒

▪️a bag of Pet Heaven food 🤩

A clinic visit both uplifts the treated animal and, crucially, prevents future litters being born into poverty and neglect 😸🐶💕

Since opening in October 2022 ‘Sidewalk Steri Clinic’ has vetted and sterilised over 950 township animals, bringing our total sterilisations in De Doorns to 4820.

The impact on the community’s animals is undeniable but we need your support to help us remain a safety net in De Doorns!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
