Old Dog Dumped Twice – Now Living Her Best Life!

Foxy’s first owner jumped into our pick up vehicle on Steri Drive in 2018, pretending he wanted Foxy sterilised, then he jumped out & ran off leaving Foxy in the back, alone & terrified! 😞

Foxy’s second owner adopted her from us at adoption day and promised her she was finally safe. Six years later she was returned as unwanted, apparently she didn’t get along with the new cat. The fourteen rotten teeth that had to be removed on intake spoke of a life of benign neglect 😒

Foxy was in foster for over a year whilst we networked her for a new home, multiple pleas went out to deafening silence…just another overlooked Africanis in an overwhelmed welfare system…😣

Then a life changing phone call, Pet Places would like to welcome little old Foxy girl to live at Camps Bay Retreat – arguably the most beautiful pet friendly accommodation in Cape Town! 😍

And just look at the change in her!! Body language, sparkling eyes, confidence – she’s a new dog! 🐶💕

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
