With all the dark stories out there, we thought we’d share Chuckie’s journey as a reminder that humans aren’t all bad and sometimes life has a way of working out just perfectly! ✨ 

You guys have helped Chuckie throughout his life, sponsoring his sterilisation in 2018, helping his family afford vet care when his paw was run over in 2019, covering his vaccination in De Doorns’ distemper outbreak in 2021 and supporting our outreach program who’ve administered his arthritis medication for the last year…

When the time came that his owner could no longer give Chuckie what he needed, she, in turn, trusted Sidewalk Specials to take Chuckie to a safer, softer life, a life that his old body could handle! ♥️ 

This is humanity at its finest, people working together to make the world a kinder place – safe to say Chuckie is beyond grateful, if somewhat oblivious 😆

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
