Leaan’s owners called us in a state, a speeding car had knocked their beloved puppy over. They couldn’t stand to see her suffering, trying to do life with a broken leg…😔

Leaan’s family have done a wonderful job in caring for her till now: purchasing her an identity collar, signing her up to our Steri Clinic to be vetted, inoculated and sterilised. She eats what they eat and sleeps inside as part of their family 💖

However, in South Africa, private vet care simply isn’t affordable on a farm workers wage, and Leaan sadly won’t survive her current injury or the resulting infection without it 💔

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
