Huge shout out to ‘Driven by Nature‘ for driving through and helping at last week’s Steri Clinic. Here’s what they had to say about their experience:
“Change begins with understanding.
In the township of De Doorns, an overpopulation of domestic animals carries endless challenges.
With limited resources, families do their best to care for their pets – but, despite their best efforts, barriers to effective care are often beyond their control.
Sidewalk Specials’ bi-weekly sterilisation campaigns reduce the number of puppies and kittens born, ensuring more food, space, and love for every animal already in the community.
We spent time with the Sidewalk Specials team as they saved lives and gave hope to dogs and cats who would otherwise suffer from uncontrolled breeding.
As a trusted pillar in the community, they made it clear that connection and understanding are the foundation of meaningful, lasting change.
The team’s relationship with the people of De Doorns escalates their impact – rather than taking away pets from loving owners with scarce resources, they offer them the help they need to keep them in their family.
To learn more, visit their page @sidewalkspecials and stay tuned for our upcoming short film showcasing their incredible work.
Every judgement is a moment lost for the animals depending on us.”
