Rexi is currently enroute to the emergency vet, some cases require diagnostic machines our clinic simply doesn’t have.
We suspect tick bite fever and possibly a tumour in his nose. If it’s a TVT (transmissible venereal tumour) then it’s easily treatable with chemotherapy, but we need a scope and biopsy to know.
Rexi is loved, his owners have previously brought him to our clinic be sterilised and vaccinated, they’ve made him his own homemade, sturdy kennel
Can his owners afford private vet care on their seasonal farm workers wage? No, not many people can in today’s economy.
Rexi’s wanted, he has a secure home, we’re asking our supporters if you can help us cover the gap and get Rexi the vet care he needs
UPDATE: The vet has confirmed that Rexi does have a TVT tumour in his nose, we first need to clear his tick bite fever and then seven to ten chemotherapy treatments should clear his tumour. If you are able to help with Rexi’s ongoing vet bills please use any donation option below ❤️🩹
