Kollie comes from GG camp in De Doorns, an area that is largely unsafe for our team to work in.
However, there are dogs in the camp who need help, sterilisation and parasite treatment. We ask residents to call us when they are in need and walk their pet out to where our cars can safely meet them.
Kollie was one such phone call, please remember that if we respond to cries for help with confiscation, GG camp pets will still get injured but we simply won’t be told – the animals will suffer in the long run…
Sidewalk will be providing fencing, sterilisation, inoculation, parasite control and follow up welfare checks. Ultimately we want Kollie to not only recover and thrive but to be a shining example in GG camp, showing that you can safely ask for help without risking persecution and confiscation.
