At the beginning of 2026 Sidewalk Specials introduced “emergency clinics” – to treat emergency cases who wouldn’t survive the two-week gap between Steri Clinics. ![]()
In the last five months alone, these clinics have attended 278 emergencies. ![]()
Motor vehicle accidents, dog fights, cancerous tumours, injuries caused by chains, stabbings, eye removals, TVT cancer treatments, parvo cases, distemper cases, burns, cats attacked by dogs, rape victims, tick bite patients, botched tail amputations, broken legs…the list goes on…![]()
It’s been heavy going, a raw insight to the realities of township life, but we carry on because we know that no one else is coming to save them…
