Lady was hit & dragged by a car last week, her family tried cleaning her wound, but quickly realised they were out of their depth…

The reality of having no transport to, nor money to afford, a vet.

They begged their network to reach out to the “honde mense” and, once alerted, we immediately collected Lady for treatment…

Pre accident, Lady’s family had done a sterling job of caring for her- including getting her to Steri Drive for her sterilisation & inoculations- hence we’re happy to help them now!

The vet estimates her hospitalisation, bandage changes and skin operations will cost approx R10,000/ £487/ $663/ €567

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
