As Steri Drive 11: Day 2 closes we’re on a total of 348 ‘Care Packs’ with still a whole day to go…

Delighted is an understatement!!

It wouldn’t have been possible without our awesome vets, head vet Vetpoint and guest vets: PDSA – SA, Citivet-Gardens, Fourways Vet Hospital, Centre for Avian, Reptiles and Exotics, Cape Companion Veterinary Clinic, Tygerberg Animal Hospital, Alphen Vet, Cape Animal Fertility Clinic & WCPVL!

You guys are heroes, the dogs & cats of De Doorns are so grateful to you!

Our goal was only 300 Steri’s so none of tomorrow’s ‘Care Packs’ are sponsored.

A ‘Care Pack’ costs R450/€24/£20/$27 and gives one dog/ cat a full vet check, inoculation, deworming, NexGard tick & flea treatment, sterilisation, antibiotics course & a Hill’s Pet Nutrition food parcel!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
