Dog Escapes Boerboel Attack – Can You Help?

Rimples’ owners pulled him from the jaws of their neighbour’s Boerboel just in the nick of time. His bite wounds are some of the worst we’ve seen. 😥

The Boerboel has been secured both with a runner and a fence, but Rimples still faces an extensive operation and long road to recovery. ❤️‍🩹

With our clinic currently running one day per week, we can’t risk putting Rimples under anaesthesia today, he’s in shock and he may not survive it.

We’re transferring him to our back up emergency vet. It’s the only safe option, but it does come with a high price tag. 😔

If you can help Sidewalk Specials with Rimples vet bill, please use any donation option below ❤️

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions

Adding a Bequest to Your Will

If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “

Thank you for protecting the future of Sidewalk Specials NPC and the safety of the animals under our care.

If you require any further information or advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us at: contact@sidewalkspecials.org
