Sidewalk Specials focus is uplifting dogs in their township homes, however, in some cases rehoming is the only kind option. Thank you for considering one of our rescues, please see below for our adoption process.
Adoption Process
- 1 - Application
Please complete the online adoption application form.
- 2 - Meet & Greet
We will then be in touch to arrange a meet and greet.
- 3 - Home Inspection
Should you wish adopt post meet and greet we will arrange a home inspection.
- 4 - Fee
If successful, you will be emailed your chosen dog’s adoption form and adoption fee (R995) details.

INDEMNITY AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR SIDEWALK SPECIALS NPC/CIC
IN APPLICATION OF STERI CLINIC PROTOCOLS (“THE PROTOCOLS”)
I/We agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sidewalk Specials NPC/CIC and any of its directors, employees, volunteers, and veterinary experts/medical personnel under direct instruction from any and all claims, damages, losses, including death, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with the application of any protocols as provided by Sidewalk Specials NPC/CIC, and/or while at the premises of Sidewalk Specials NPC/CIC, or at any location in application of these protocols.
I/We acknowledge that application of any of the protocols involves certain risks and hazards, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury and property damage. I/We agree to assume full responsibility for any such risks and hazards, and to release and waive any claims against Sidewalk Specials NPC/CIC and any of its directors, employees, volunteers, and veterinary experts/medical personnel under direct instruction arising out of or in connection with application of the protocols or while at the premises of Sidewalk Specials NPC/CIC, or at any location in application of the same animal protocols.
I/We acknowledge that this indemnity is intended to be interpreted as broadly as allowed by law, and that it shall survive the termination or expiration of Sidewalk Specials NPC/CIC, and that the indemnity referred to herein shall inure to the successors and assigns of Sidewalk Specials NPC/CIC, and its directors, employees, volunteers, and veterinary experts/medical personnel under direct instruction.
