Mommy Dog So Grateful To Be Rescued!

Gertie and her Gremlins 🥰

When her owner moved away, Gertie was left to fend for herself and her puppies 💔

She hid in a locked carport to nurse them, locals threw food down to her and called Sidewalk Specials for help ❤️

Gertie is small breed, approx three years old, Africanis mix. Teddy and Hamish are expected to be small to medium size when fully grown. All are great with dogs and cats and will be re homed separately 🐶💕

If you’re based in Cape Town and surrounds and can offer Gertie, Teddy or Hamish a forever home please complete an application at: sidewalkspecials.org/adopt 🐶💕

If you can help Sidewalk Specials with this little family’s vet bills (puppy milk/ mouse, deworming, chipping, vaccinations, sterilisation etc) – please use any donation option below ✨

‪Sidewalk Specials are PBO approved and can issue Section 18A tax certificates for all donations received! ✅

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions

Adding a Bequest to Your Will

If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “

Thank you for protecting the future of Sidewalk Specials NPC and the safety of the animals under our care.

If you require any further information or advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us at: contact@sidewalkspecials.org
